I think we all know why they asked. The whole purpose of the entire post was to slip that line in at the end.

Or maybe not coming out as Quatar won’t fund protests against Iran.

you been drinking the paid protestor kool aid again big man?

I observe, the organizers are paid, even the anti semites should be able to see that.

does Qatar have to do PAYG summaries you reckon?

No but some of the big name protesters should be made to show their tax returns

who is the biggest paid protestor?

Probably Tucker Carlson, there are many though.

did you do his tax returns?

That is idiotic.

the whole thing is

What is, 20,000 unarmed citizens getting slaughtered by the regime and all I hear is crickets.

Just for the sake of accuracy, all i can find in terms of official figures are 2,000 , with another 700 or so uncomfirmed. It’ll almost certainly be much higher than that , of course.

I agree it is hard to get an exact number, but I am taking from a news source I have found to be reliable over the years. The thing that is not counted are the ones that have been kidnapped, some from the universities, I am guessing they won’t be seen again.

i wonder if they know the compulsory super contribution went up in july

What do you want them to do?

The protests in Australia are aimed at the Australian government, and are intended to promote change in Australian policy regarding Israel and Gaza. But the Australian government already has sanctions etc on Iran.

“What do we want?”
“Keep doing what you’re doing!”
“When do we want it?”
“As of several years ago when you already started doing what we want you to do!”

Lacks a bit of pizazz, protest-wise.

I’m just wondering why Free Palestine protestors are expected to do the hard yards for Iran now, surely they can choose their battles based on motivation? Disregarding the ‘paid protestor’ angle, because ffs, I’m guessing there’s plenty of motivation going on in the Australian Iranian community and its supporters also. Why is this even a conversation? Blimey

it’s pretty comfortably the thickest angle out there.

why on earth would anyone pay for protestors when it’s significantly easier and cheaper to just “lobby” the relevant mps directly

Or if you want to subvert an event, invite chaos etc simply infiltrate and start something, which has a much more established history of happenstance

Did you make the same noises about the 150,000 murdered in Sudan ?

Trump said a few things but has done nothing.
