There was a similar case in a Queensland hostel years ago wasn’t there? Itinerant fruitpicker guy chucked a wobbly and burnt down a hostel, killing a bunch of people.
Hostels can be so vulnerable to this sort of thing, the older ones especially. Crammed with beds, people and luggage from wall to wall, lots of drunks, lots of itinerant types, lots of smoking.

Some sort of incident has occurred in Nottingham. Three people murdered “in the streets” , another three in hospital after being run down by a van, reports of a tram derailment, so far one suspect arrested, supposedly seperate but more or less concurrent events. A lot to play out, methinks.
The two dead were found around 4am and the van thing was much later. So either not related, or someone is very slow to run/hide.
