Getting ANZAC Day tickets....how?

I didn’t have to do anything, it spontaneously fixed itself/got through the uber-slow queue after a few days.

I have a season general admission home and away membership and could only get one adult ticket, and my wife and daughters home and away 6 game membership, only one each for them as well.

I don’t know if because it is an away game, we can’t get multiple tickets, not a problem for me though.

It was a bizarre process, the first couple of tries I seemed to be getting pretty average tickets at pretty expensive prices, but eventually I got row L behind the goals on L4 for a $7 upgrade for each of 3 tickets. Only drawback is I think we are at the Collingwood end, but I have a talent for ending up amongst Collingwood supporters. Its in Q1 in the Great Southern stand right next to the Olympic Stand Scoreboard.

Sooooo with the public sales on Wednesday morning…anybody got the link for page I should be continually refreshing? It’s tickiteck right? Or both tickiteck and ticket master? Sorry for my noob-ness

Ticketek. Go to their main site and go through the afl season bit. Scroll down to R5, and it walks you through the rest. More or less.

For future ref:
ticketek for Mcg.
Ticketmaster for Etihad.

Legend :+1:

Not sure if it’s the same for all memberships but members barcode allowed me 1 x upgrade ticket and 3 adult tix. Still haven’t received my wife’s barcode otherwise I might of tried for an extra ticket or two

M52 for me

Still no idea how I managed to get that 4 and a half hours after they went on sale

I dunno, maybe there is an allocation for you and anyone else being in Westozzie.

I know when I was in qld, the person running the computer was adamant it was local time, not melbourne time, even though I ended up getting tickets based on melbourne time.

Now you gotta get flights and accomodation!!!

Staying at a mates in Melbourne, and I’m driving over

3,274 km trip.

Fair effort !!!

Even longer if he’s going back, and we’ve stunk it up like a Sydney final

Nah, every time WOB comes over we win.

Thinking it’s not a fully ticketed event yet, thus no GA seat upgrades available.
