HOT TAKES

I can’t believe TWO blitzers nailed that ridiculous track.

Kudos.
Seriously.

Is this question understood?

Ha!

The Twins…
Yes, I had the album (was offloaded to Dixons many moons ago…it was…uh… less than great…)

Not The Lovibg Kind was a good track. I still remember the clip too, they were running around the city and up outdoor escalators.

I am with you Wim and I can’t name a single track off any of her albums. She, for whatever reason, is bigger than most other artists coming to Oz so good luck to her and think of all the happy swifties. Just remember Wim, haters gonna hate!!

He did indeed, but was invariably spruiking the annihilation of Jews, and others.
It’s abhorrent that anyone can formulate an association between Hitler and Swift.

Death to black comedy

This man speaks for me!

I have been following the many antics in this thread and find them mildly amusing. The only Swift track l can recall at all with any certainty is the one where the old man is telling some dude to stay away from Juliet, but am unsure of the title, so l will leave it there. It is pleasant little melody, the voice is clear and not at all close to the musical styles l prefer, but that is not relevant here, it is modern and refreshing. For too long l have lived in the past in terms of my musical tastes so l am making something of an effort via the music threads on here to find some new music to enjoy, and it is working. There does invariably and inevitably come a stage in life where we more or less stop or give up trying to find new music, and then we revert back to the music of our youth and cling to it, claiming it is better than anything else ever. Not so. Good music comes in waves, it is like the tides on the ocean, it can’t be stopped.

On Sunday l went to the Blitz charity footy match and got off the train at Richmond. Even at 11 AM there were kids getting around in their gear and people setting up to sell merch. I say good luck to them, all of them. Although l was not part of the music experience, just seeing the kids excited, put a smile on my heart.

Memo to Alex, your attempt at humour, if that is what it was, fell a little short. Give up on it, don’t try and double down.

Taylor should have goose stepped around the stage at the MCG

I think she did in the final encore when she covered TISM’s “Defecate on my face”

Relaxed, comfortable, middle aged and paying hundreds to thousands to watch a pretty rich blonde white girl sing mega produced vanilla ditties about how her ex boyfriends were somewhat deficient. Is this the happy timeline?

At least our Kylie didn’t pretend to be anything more than what she was. A pair of shrieking cheeks with good management.
