I'm aware of all this, Plato's cave etc. the concept of freedom as a means of control. What's the answer though Vinnie, what's the answer? This "knowledge" is itself already institutionalised - subsumed into the idea that you have the freedom to think beyond the limits of thought that has been imposed on you. Your freedom to think along these lines is already a cave in itself. No?

I think Asada is just another of these government bodies trying to justify their budget by making headlines!
I do not think our poor old Bombers will come out of this smelling like roses but I believe the way this was handled by Asada and the AFL was a dramatic performance worthy of a Shakespearean play! An utter disgrace especially by Demetriou who understandably had to fall on his sword although he would never admit that.
I DETEST the way the whole saga has been handled by Asada, the AFL and the media. A sad and sorry time for all of us but I think we'll get through it and be a stronger club for the experience.

That's good because if they were you would be failing miserably. Do you really get off on these vacuous responses of yours? I'm curious.because most people have an inner voice telling them to aim higher, to do things better. It's very unusual when someone is at such a low plane not to get these urgings to move to a higher place. Unless of course they have stifled their inner voice. I hope you haven't done that as that would be sad.
