If you could attend any Essendon moment in History?

Went to that game with school. A few of the guys there saw a different side of me that day.
Got pretty vocal and fired up.
Loved it

Really it’d have to be a game with Reynolds, Hutchison and Coleman right? Would love to be able to compare with Hird, Watson, Madden, Daniher etc…

I saw the title of this thread and immediately thought, Coleman’s first game. Clicked on the title and saw that the opening post was already there.

Y’all tripping.

None of the moments above come close to the attention and prominence the DJ King has to EFC history.

Every time I view the football forum here it is right up the top.

It has to be something to do with the reigning DJ King thread.

And old mate leaving the game saying;

“he should have passed a couple of those off, the young fella. He only has eyes for the goals.”

1/ Couldn’t get a ticket.
2/ Was there. (Also the week before against WCE and the GF win.)
3/ A mate had a birthday lunch and I stupidly attended.
4/ It was in WA, so…
5/ Was there and sitting next to goals at Punt Rd end. It was awesome.
6/ I was there, but sitting on level 3, so Hirdy couldn’t get to me to give me a hug.

As per others, I would have loved to have been at Coleman’s first game, but my Mum and Grandparents were there so that counts for something, right?

As funny as that would be, I quite like having FCFC playing in the AFL, Dank would have been the final nail in that coffin.

1993 Grand final

The 1993 Prelim would of been a ripper to go to

To see my favourite player Lloyd kick his 100th against Norf in 2000

I was listening to the comeback game against North on the radio.

The excitement of winning from that far back must have been exhilarating.

The 1962 GF win. Geoff leek was vice captain, and it was his final game. Replaced and retired during the last quarter. He lived behind my next door neighbours when l was kid, and was partly responsible for me becoming such a dedicated Bomber boy.

I was lucky enough to be at all those except the Lucas game.
All great memories

Our next flag. I know that’s not ‘history’ but it the one I want to see.
