That’s how Americans talk now, and it’s from the top down. They’ll tell you it’s their language and you can keep your English. They’re so fat and rich they can dispense with economy of language and thought and just build sentences that vaguely resemble their intended meaning. Something I may have just done myself.

… and if you don’t understand it, they say it’s your fault.
