In memoriam. Australian Journalism. Judd Wept

I was only listening on the ABC, such prudes! Or, the commercial MSM were in poll position.
ADD
ABC now reporting a young journalist with whom he was intimately involved. Also to several journalists who had not sought information.

water polo coach?

You’ve got to be aware of what’s interesting.

Easy on Tuesdays a couple of years back…the previous night’s episode of GOT
Mondays - the weekend’s footy

And other times, all those “reality” shows that mental pygmies watch, like Gogglebox

Presenter eye tests needed. One referred to a comm ittee (two words when one will do)

The ABC has lost some able female journalists, for different reasons.
This includes Emma Alberici, Zoe Daniels, Mary Gearin and Tracey Holmes.
The ABC has recently issued a statement condemning attacks by trolls and others of a specific sexual nature against Patricia Karvelas, which have increased as she expanded her role in more mainstream TV programs.

That’s not gonna get you laid, Greg.

Of course its a middle aged ugly white man who says such a thing. Seriously, I dont think I see this sort of stupid rhetoric spouted by anyone other than that demographic.

I swear its almost as if the only connection boomers have to the outside world is Facebook and whatever trending video is on there at the time. Touch some grass old timer.

Fk, he stole the premise of my upcoming article “We need rusty nails strewn across carpet floors more than we do Greg Sheridan”.

And in other news in the Guardian, that Hitler guy was really quite evil.

International journalism rather than Australian journalism, but somehow this “revelation” of what I consider to be well known fact has garnered an article. And with the headline including the word “secret”, for something that was widely known not least by Conan Doyle attempting to kill off the character by throwing him off a cliff, only to have to try and walk that back in later years because he quite liked the income Sherlock Holmes generated.

Now do the other days of Christmas. I’m hoping for something from Bolt about the redemptive magic of the silly season with a cartoon of old Alan J circling lasciviously under some mistletoe

On a completely unrelated subject…how’s Scott Miller going these days?

I notice that Gideon Haigh is no longer writing for The Oz after what appears to be a huge falling out. As a result it seems the Murdoch owned broadsheet would not allow the longtime podcast he did with Peter Labor to continue. They are certainly first class haters who won’t let go any grudges. By the way Gideon has poured a bucket on them.
Perhaps if they’re looking for a replacement cricket commentator they should look no further than Rita Panahi who wrote the well argued piece early in the World Cup saying that Pat Cummins was too woke, incompetent as both captain and a player and should be discarded!
I find it difficult to understand that good journos continue working for such a biased overseas owned media company.
