Kaine Baldwin 14 weeks. Ouch. Incredibly disappointing.
Nothing riles the uber-fans more than a fuzzy injury prognosis.
Good
Yes, not sure why the by-product (gambling) should get to influcence the primary endeavour (AFL)?
It’s not just a by-product, it’s a direct revenue stream. Even excluding sponsorship deals, The AFL gets a cut of all the gambling done on the AFL so they’re incentivised to help out the gambling companies the same way they’re incentivised to help out the broadcasters. More gambling is directly more money.
I’m not saying it’s good, but anyone adding 50 million or so a year to the coffers is going to have some influence.
With Ridley missing a month of preseason with his calf, I have to wonder wtf he was doing out thete in a praccy match with 5 minutes to go in the third.

Good investment I reckon.
Im all in on Caddy, otherwise I’d have some panic dollars invested here.
practicing…

They will be cracking down on it for the same reason NBA does, gambling companies would have told them to
Free time and the internet. People get angry like Abe Simpson over nothing.

With a lawyer in charge now, this isn’t surprising.
Doesn’t it just mean the club will be conservative on the weeks estimated?
Ridley seemed to be on similar time frames as Draper/Shiel, then got up for the practice match…hindsight should have only played a half…maybe should have only played a half in the VFL game like Draper did.
I guess they wanted some match sim with McKay & Reid & Rids.
That’s some 20/20 hindsight right there! He had rehabbed…participated in main training…it is what it is.
