So Parish is ready then
I don’t get it, can you explain the silver lining?
Would have spent a year in the vfl then look at a debut in 2026. I don’t think he was ready for senior games this season imo
Your silver linings are ■■■■.
We are not in a hurry let the kid develop in the VFL.
Look at Lewis Hayes spent 2 years in the VFL before he got his debut and slotted in nicely
Things could definitely be worse. We’ve only got about 2 best 22 players on the injury list
Tbh Nino, I’m not sure on your understanding of what a silver lining is.
What’s the good thing associated with Nguyens injury?
There is no silver lining (unless maybe it means he gets to attend an overseas wedding that he would have missed otherwise, or allows him to adequately recover from some other injury he has been battling or something like that).
If he’s injured he’s not developing in the VFL though is he…
Well yeah
199cm KP defenders are different though.
They need time.
I’m glad you agree
True. I think younger players like Nguyen spending a year or 2 in the VFL is beneficial so when they do debut they can contribute straight away
Is it more a case of ‘it doesn’t really matter because he isn’t best 22’?
When Caldwell did his hammy you went off about the club being cursed and how does a player get injured at training etc.
Nguyen gets a tbc and silver linings etc.
Your the one that said it not me
Yeah, just wondering why such contrasting reactions.
That’s my best guess, and I’d suspect I’m right.
WTF, when did Nguyen get injured!!!
Damn it EFC, why can’t we have nice things???
RE Parish - VFL scheduling is a bloody joke honestly.
"After a lengthy layoff, Parish will initially return via the VFL to gain some game exposure. However with a VFL bye this week, his return has been pushed back to next week as he works towards a return to the AFL team in the coming weeks. "
RISH
There is 5 best 22 on the list, 6 if you include parish and 7 if you include brads boy jones
