Would have spent a year in the vfl then look at a debut in 2026. I don’t think he was ready for senior games this season imo

We are not in a hurry let the kid develop in the VFL.
Look at Lewis Hayes spent 2 years in the VFL before he got his debut and slotted in nicely

What’s the good thing associated with Nguyens injury?
There is no silver lining (unless maybe it means he gets to attend an overseas wedding that he would have missed otherwise, or allows him to adequately recover from some other injury he has been battling or something like that).

True. I think younger players like Nguyen spending a year or 2 in the VFL is beneficial so when they do debut they can contribute straight away

RE Parish - VFL scheduling is a bloody joke honestly.
"After a lengthy layoff, Parish will initially return via the VFL to gain some game exposure. However with a VFL bye this week, his return has been pushed back to next week as he works towards a return to the AFL team in the coming weeks. "
