Injury Updates

Someone pleasantly the same players are getting injured time and time again

I’ll keep saying if I broke down once did a rehab and broke down again with the same injury… id be like right o the last rehab didn’t work why are we doing the same

Can anyone give me a injury total by individual numbers for last 4 years

Or how many times has parish been injured etc

You need to deduct total injuries by number of players injured

What would you all think if 65% of the total injuries were attributed to x amount of players

If it’s the same people breaking down time and time again maybe just maybe there bodies are just not up for it

Same players again and again. It’s as much the players as it is the fitness department.

Why wouldn’t you - plenty out there prioritise money over success. Think about it… low standards, guaranteed games (you’ll never be dropped), an extra month off every year, healthy contracts off the back of minimal output. Bludge around for a few years and set yourself up for life.

Agreed. No more.

Redman has turned in his keys mate. Some of his efforts this year have been ■■■■ poor and we have plenty of options of players who can run and carry off half back. He’s not indispensable.

Brad was on AFL 360 I though he spoke well about the current injury crisis say what you want about him but he’s the right bloke to lead us atm

Like who Saad who’s more suited to a wing role who else?

We are scraping at the bottom of the barrel just to field a team every week

Settle down chaps, it’s just bad luck and opportunity.

Johnson and Roberts are 2 that spring to mind.

Super top up like Cooney.

You can’t blame a rolled ankle on fitness staff. But geez, Caldwell has really had a stop/start year. Late start to the year, couple of weeks in, gets injured, couple of weeks, injured again.:confounded:

This year has had a 2016 vibe with all the inexperienced and introduced players.

Let’s hope it finishes the same way too.

Amen, would be the best thing to happen to the club in 20 years.

You recon I’m not so sure

I guess it makes sense. I mean the resurfacing our our main trading ground has worked wonders for our injury list.

Agreed.

Most of them have it so good with us (minimal expectation, big wage) that they’ll have a sook but end up staying.

If not? CYA later

I’ve been the most vocal about the clubs injury management over the years on here but always got told “injuries happen it’s just bad luck” etc

Well the chickens have come home to roost haven’t they

Except the problem is the players

In case of Langford used to be one of our most durable players.

Some of the players have every right to question the club fitness program

Maybe it’s the famous spongey floors.
