Quiet you!

Wheres the team??!?

Would be cool to see the club try to be at the forefront digitally and set up either a live stream or even just put the footage up afterwards. Even if it was just a static camera on a tripod from the balcony it would still be cool to see without much effort (would add value to a "digital membership")

Are you sure that wouldn’t contravene one of the 8722 AFL rules protecting intellectual property and incur a $200,000 fine and the loss of a 1st round draft choice.

Don’t want to be done for governance again.

Actually I have asked about this and the clubs can’t cause of the rights paid for by the broadcasting company. Same thing with additional game footage and stuff like that. They can use it internally but once they want to put it on a public forum they get charged a lot, even if it’s their own footage.

EFC have a large pole with a camera to cover both grounds for this. They can’t put up any of it.

While not surprising at all, that’s profoundly stupid from the AFL.

Not stupidity, control and greed.

That’s true, last time we had enough to make a team, bench and even coach.

What I don’t get is why the channels don’t just put it up. All fox footy is doing is showing replays. You’d get a handful more watchers, and it’s not like it needs commentators. Or he’ll, use them to test out some new and cheaper commentators.

Going from training reports and rehab group teams could be something like this

Red

Morgan brown DEA
Jerret Francis McGrath

Colyer jobe zaha
Luey hepp zerrett

Fanta Stewart tippa
Lav hooker Langford

Int: Bj Hocking

Blue

Bags Hurley Ambrose
Kelly Hartley Conor

Stanton Myers mutch
Smack bird parish

Long Ridley howlett
Redman Begley Green

Int: Clarke gleeson

Rehab: JD, tbell, draper - eades

Quite even teams in terms of experience will be a good hit out, Hurley/Hartley v Hooker will be exciting to watch. Those who are there keep a eye on Jerret ad Mcgrath as I’m interested to see how they perform in the backline

Not stupidity, control and greed.

Control and greed are motivations, stupidity is what colours the outcomes. The AFL want to make as much money as possible, and because they’re stupid they think charging clubs prohibitive fees to stream practice/intraclub matches will achieve that. The AFL want to control the image of the game and because they’re stupid they think that clubs wouldn’t also be incredibly aware of image when presenting something like that to members. They’re venal and stupid.

Crowd is now up to double figures!

Four more on their way

Coming out of the Hangar, time to over-analyse who’s wearing red and who’s wearing black.

Black appear to be the “probables”… Stants may disagree with that. And Hurley. He’ll be busy.

Jobe emerges shirtless.

Joe is out there for the Blacks, as is Leuenberger.

Where can we send our fan mail djr?

Howlett and Colyer, in black, report to the second ground.

Joe chips it forty metres through the middle… with the right foot, of course.

Can someone post us a rough team sheet for those of us at home
