I think its in the context of following the footy club, not life in general.
If we don’t nail this,and next years draft we might as well check out as supporters till the late 2020’s.
We MUST capitalize on the core of McGrath,Ridley,Parish,Langford,Zerrett etc…
Ill be devestated to see us not have some finals success in 2-4 years,and watch these boys leave or languish surrounded by mediocrity.
Never before can new draftees have a year of development,then significant impact the following year.
Give me a 187+ mid with skills.
Give me a forward with a frame to build on,and mongrel.
Give me a tough small defender to nullify the oppos best small.

Brisbane went from 18th in 2017, 15th in 2018 to 2nd (after the h&a season) in 2019. It’s definitely possible. Just need to invest heavily in the first two rounds of the draft this year and next. And then the year after a blend of draft and gun free agents and shrewd trades and it can turn around in a couple of years.
