Jackets Dodoro

LOL. I doubt the club is using an anonymous internet hero to condition the fanbase. Much more effective ways of doing that. And it would run directly contrary to commentary from Jackets today. In fact, based on his interview this morning, Jackets will look quite silly if he accepts unders for Joe. I bet he doesn’t.

His body will be alright next year I think the worst is behind him

I think its good to see Geelong stating 2 first round picks for Tim Kelly is just a starting point. This is for an un-contracted player.
We have a marque player who is under contract looking for a trade, so the price has to be significant and 2 firsts aren’t gonna do it.
I am very happy to keep Daniher, and trust the club to move forward with him from next year. SYD can get stuffed. We as a club have no obligation here at all.

We have always been looking for mids since last 15 years it has been our achillies

We just need that big body inside mid now

Crouch wins the hard ball I like him, Wines also but his skills aren’t as good.

Again the question is Daniher

Will he give us his all or sook

Goddard did both.
And beat up jelly babies.

That’s exactly right. And he made that very clear. The other clubs have to come us with a deal that we think is overs.

Syd calls jackets

We will certainly live up to this reputation this trading period that’s for sure!

We don’t have to move, and we aren’t the ones chasing this year either.

Daniher pick 5 and 9
Fantasia pick 10

Don’t want anything less but I would take this in a heartbeat as it’s overs for us.

5,9,10,31 and 37

That’s a ripper to get some great players

This is spot on.

I thought he was just saying trade him because no point having a coach and a full forward forced to be there when their heart isn’t in it

5 and 9 I would think is overs for JD I’d take that

There is no Daniher in this years Draft.

There is a reason Sydney has gone this year. He is all thats available as far as key forwards go and they have some currency after a ■■■■ year.

For Daniher I would want the calibre of a Max or Ben King in return and probably something else.

He is worth so much more than a couple of talented teenagers.

This isnt a buddy franklin situation. It will be if we cant get him back loving the dons and melbourne next year.

And even if it was Compo in next years draft at Worst case. That might be better than anything Sydney cough up this year.

Sydney must have talented academy kids coming through the system, which explains their move.

And I bet. None of them are AA quality 200cm key forwards.

not even close to overs. Forget fair and reasonable here.
Swans need to show just how much they want Joe. If not, he is already at a club that has invested millions into him and wants him.
There is no reasonable negotiation here. He is not out of contract and he is not a free agent. His only option is to stay at Essendon next year. It is up to SYD to make us think otherwise.
2 first rounders in a compromised draft with no key position prospects means nothing to us

What’s the real reason for JD wanting to leave is the question.

It is about personnel for sure because people run a club not a club run a club.

So who and how many is he jacked of with along with Fantasia

I’m sure 5 and 9 packaged will get King to us and a second round pick

Or JC for that matter

He’s a tool. A tool with an unjustified audience, an overinflated ego and not always with the clubs best interest at heart, despite some connections.

Agreed!

No it won’t, not even close, all those players are untouchables. Key fwds with this sort of tallent are the most valuable players on the market. They are extremely rare and once you have one you can not afford to lose them.

Even if there was a JD Calibre fwd in this draft. It’s 3 years of development at least before playing afl.

Sam Walsh type mids can make an impact straight away. 18 year old kpp very rarely do

This discussion started today by Dodoro saying we don’t talk to contracted players.

I reckon he meant we don’t talk to guys who are contracted for the next year. So in 2019 we would talk to guys who are off contract at the end of 2019, but not guys who are contracted for later years.

If that is the case, he might be telling the truth… but I think the dumb ■■■■■ on trade radio missed the possibility that this was what he was saying
