Given we cut Brown and this guy has shown he can play at the required level , is tough and can kick straight it is a no brainer for me.
He’s the “Dean Wallis” that we have been missing for the last 18 years.

By including Townsend it would put Lav and Begley on notice to lift their game.
Those two have had a pretty charmed run in the senior side and now its time to start delivering.
Maybe Richardson or Maybe Sheedy.
He’s got 2 ex players in he liked this year - Phillips, Townsend

I have spoken to a few Tigers fans and they are saying that we can have him!
When we win 2 flags in 3 years we will have the same response about our depth players.
Hate to break it to you but we ain’t winning 2 flags in 3 years.
If it’s coming down to last rookie spot he’s still going to be better than anyone we could likely get there.
And better than many of our still currently senior listed players
If Rutten and Caracella want him & can see him being a handy contributor at times then I’ll back them
And our VFL side has also lost a heap of experience in Hocking and Myers so at the very least he does that. Who else is going to protect the kids?
