Have a good feeling it will get done today

Stringer maybe going to Colorado for high altitude training?
Now that that state has legalised gives a whole new meaning

Seriously tho, after the last few weeks he’s entitled to get away from “The Melbourne AFL fishbowl”

Really? “Whippet” it is, then.

If we get this done today, we can turn our attention to who has to be dumped from the best 22 in 2018, because this three 3 are automatic best 22.
Its not going to be that easy, and that thread will probably run to at least 10,000 over the long, hot summer.

Jobe, Kelly, Green/Colyer.

Not difficult as 2 of them are retired

Howlett,Jerret,Morgan

It’s possible you didn’t read the post closely enough…

A Tippett / Cloke forward line would be an impending sign of the apocalypse

Howlett stays i think. Saw his instagram post he’s been putting in the yards and a specialist was working with him at the club yesterday

Kelly for Saad is easy enough. But Langford has to come in for Jobe (because he’s been there long enough and if he doesn’t he’s finished) so that muddies the waters a bit. I’d be inclined to think Green will struggle but Colyer stays.

Needs photoshopped bomber jumpers.

hopefully jake pre recorded his ‘YESSS’ video in a dons jumper before leaving for the US

That is GOLD .

People keep saying ‘Langford for Jobe’ as if they are somehow like for like. In build yes, but Langford is hardly someone who will crash a pack and get a handball out, let alone his many other weaknesses (awareness, decision making, intensity). I’d be far more confident in McGrath taking his spot than Langford, despite being different types of players.

I don’t disagree with that. Merely making the point that it’s make or break for Langford. He either finds what he’s supposedly lacking and comes in as Jobe’s replacement or he wastes away in the VFL and gets chopped at season’s end. There’s no other role for him now. If this club is to take the next step and win a final/compete for top 4, then a number of a hoard of young players need to step up and Langford is among that group.

Been saying it for ages Langford looks soft to play middle rather Begley or McGrath or Smith

That doesn’t mean he staying

More that he trying to prove he more worthy of staying of the potential list cuts. Also looks good for other clubs who may have an interest.

I vote we let Finding Nino bring up the 10k post. He’s earned it
