I do think Eddie is a huge flog but when he decides to talk football and not get caught up in the BS or trying to be the court jester he actually has some real football knowledge.

It’s also good he’s in the media, will soften his image to everybody. I always feel like if you have a scandal, it’s better to get back in the media as soon as possible, so the scandal isn’t the last thing people remember you for. Even snakes like Gary Lyon got accepted relatively quickly, once he’d jumped back in the media for a while.
In saying all this, hird is an impressive media performer. I didn’t have fox back in the day when he was on there, so it’s surprised me how natural he has been straight away on ch9.
