You did watch our match against us earlier this year? Absolutely killed us.
Early days but it’s looking like a ripper first round.

TBH, I don’t particularly take much notice of oppo players, I see he had 7 clearances, that is good for a 1st year player.
Tstas nick name should be saladas
No.
EDDIE FORD mealy won the game in the last quarter
Baldwin.
No further comments.
Waste of time. We all know it’s going to end in the usual embarrassment.
Pity that when it come to the crunch they fold like a deck of cards.
This review thread is awfully quiet for a win over such a big rival
Not to mention, the team that we beat last week, with a desperate last second goal, by one point, just lost by 101 points.
Feel sick in the gut.
We can be heroes
Just for one day
If so, then it’s been a big FAIL as the team has not improved in any of the areas that need developing. In fact they’ve got worse.
That wouldn’t be a backup ruck, would be a top 10 in the comp ruckman.
Felt like a game between two bottom 4 sides. The skill level was really bad
Overall I’m happy with the win for a few reasons:
Baldwin- played great. Why the hell hasn’t he been played earlier?
We fielded a very very young side today, and a lot of them really stood up are carried us to victory. That’s a good sign for the future
Tsatas looks very talented
Really liking what cox has shown these past few weeks
Great job.
Is that three signatures in the space of 2 months?
Really setting a high bar there.
Did anyone at the game hear if there was someone in the crowd with a whistle?
It could very much be my ears and mind playing tricks, but I reckon a few times I thought I heard a whistle when there wasn’t one.
One occasion was just before Hobbs got done for deliberate when he stopped on the boundary. I, perhaps like him, thought there had already been a whistle for out. Was watching on telly at home.
Dunno why but Eddie Ford is a player that ■■■■■■ me off. Maybe it’s his name, his vibe, I dunno, but he’s an annoying little bugger.
Am I the only one that thinks the moving around of guys like Kelly for example is to give him every chance before delisting him?
Or is this just wishful thinking?
The only thing that makes any sense to me is a few who seem like they shouldnt be getting a game are being or were being given that chance before papers are stamped
Baldwin
I’ve seen enough of him over the few games he’s played to see he’s a lock for this team going forward, bulky back who can kick, will pair beautifully with Riddley
Cox
He is going to be a menace this time next year. His length and agility is both an offensive but also a defensive weapon. Gets those longs arms out and just envelops opposition players. Can take a grab too.
Martin
Possibly BOG, 3 goals, many goal assists
Zerrett
9 tackles, his defensive work this year has beent he best defensive mid work in the league, absolute champion effort while getting tagged, hard
Perkins
He bobs up enough to think he could be a great HF, semi decent mid, great blind turn in the 4th
Zerk and Redman were solid down back
I thought we’d lose by 40, didn’t realise North were as bad as us
We are so far off full strength so it’s hard to guage
You add Draper to this team, we immediately win more territory and have a second option up fwd after Wright, he also brings intensity and chaos to the game, but most importantly, passion that’s infectious
We miss Setterfield and looked a lot better when he was in, also I still believe Shiel has a place in this team
Caldwell too is signifigant loss to midfield and general team grit
Riddleys been our most important player all year after Zach
Fit Stringer adds a huge amount of pressure to our f50 that’s not there atm, and a bull in centre bounces
I am excited by the development of Cox, Hobbs, Martin
Think we are slightly better than last year, b ut a lot of the bad habits have crept back in
shout out to guelfi, 3 smothers, important goal, he does a lot for this team that goes unrewarded, he’s uncompromising on the 1%ers
