Whereas I really wanted 4K for AFL games, but didn’t want to pay for Foxtel. 2 streams is plenty. I don’t need 3 at once.
existing kayo base spat in the face really.
Ive heard the quality of foxtel now is better than kayo. Ie its foxtels premium product so they give it more resources?
You can get all the channels for 49 a month. Sport included.
That can be split amongst 5 screens.
So technically your could have afl for 10 dollars a month with 4 mates and much better than Kayo(purportedly)
Just be mindful that it’s a 12 month deal then the price goes up significantly.
I just negotiate a new promo deal with Foxtel every 12 months.
You can register five devices but I’m pretty sure you’re limited to 2? Concurrent streams
Hasn’t it always been better than Kayo?
The opposite from my experience (speaking to Foxtel go rather than satellite though).
Haven’t seen it this season to compare though
What’s the minimum cost of watching Afl on Foxtel
?
That 49$ deal Handypoint posted would be cheapest.
Without a deal it’d be $54 for base plus sport
Oh really? You have to have non essendon mates
A mate of mine gets foxtel go and swore to me its better quality a couple years back. But i dunno it might still not be the case
So here is the thing. I fly out on March 20 for 4 weeks travel in Indonesia to Sumatra, Bali and Komodo. I am unlikely to find AFL anywhere, is it worth getting the one free trial on Kayo to get my footy fix? That is if Kayo even do the 1 month free trial still.
Can you get ABC Australia in Indonesia?
Cos they have all the games FTA
Unless you have a very good VPN, Kayo won’t work outside of Aus.
Im curious if the web feed of ABC Australia has the afl in asia.
Cos if it does.
Hello VPN
Probably available in Bali, no way anywhere near Komodo, l could ask but l don’t want to upset the dragons!
Nah. You will need a telly i would imagine.
Still every provider under the sun have it. I just checked that link for you
As has been said I don’t believe Kayo will work outside of Aus.
There’s always WatchAFL (the AFLs dedicated streaming platform outside of Aus). Can’t speak to the quality though , and doesn’t appear to have a free trial (can pay weekly, monthly or yearly). Not exactly cheap though
To access an overseas app store you could test it out with a VPN and also change your appleid home country in settings. Perhaps you can download the abc australia iview app.
I might give it a go myself to get cheap afl
Watch AFL. $44 for a one month subscription. Every match live and on-demand plus mini matches. Has a live stream of the Fox footy channel plus every Fox footy show on demand.
If you’re away for one month it’s $11 per Essendon match and easy. The app works (except scrubbing is ■■■■) no fluffing around with VPNs or wondering if ABC Australia has it.
