The Lions will come out all guns blazing after that disaster vs the Pies. They absolutely need to and must win.
Changes to me will be just for experiment to see who still wants to wear the Essendon jumper with some pride. I want to see us to be competitive for four quarters and not throw in the towel at the first sign of opposition pressure. Best effort and intent got little to do with skill.
Now that the season is (mathematically) cooked, give me some hope you peasants.

The best thing that Captain Merrett can do is to tell the pilot of the plane whose destination is Brisbane, to change the destination to the Gold Coast for a week’s stay, lapping up the beach, warmth, bikini girls and the odd beer. The side would enjoy more of that rather than going to Brizzy to get flogged. Daniher will most likely kick at least 6 - 8 goals and then turn to Scott and say “Up you Scott, your side is about as useful as two pieces of nanny goat s***.”

Im not too sure who has the best defensive chops but id like a defensive forward on Zorko. Quiet him down.
Im not sure how we stop Brisbane kicking 100 points to be honest.
Their engine room is elite at present. They are strong where we are(clearances) and are a front half team.
Our backline is going to all time melt from the get go.
I think we should bring in 2MP because we know he can kick straight, and also Goldstein because of his experience. Unfortunately Caddy and Archie Roberts will have to go, because although they’ve shown promise, they need more experience in the VFL. And Heppell will get a farewell game to show our appreciation, and Jye Caldwell will go because he’s got a bit of tiredness.
Then we can really show the football world what we’re made of.
