The club tweeted on 12th Jan that our 5 rookies have been upgraded to the senior list.
But I suspect that was a heat of the moment tweet that wasn’t really 100% spot on. It linked the article explaining the AFLs rules that they’d made up. In there it says we can upgrade the rookies but it doesn’t make it clear if we’re still limited to 40 in the senior list… presumably we are.
And Koch is technically correct about us having one extra on the list. We will have 43 counting rookies and topups. Port will have 42 counting topups. But that’s because we have Conor and they don’t have any international rookies. It would have been the case even without suspensions
Wowee. I’m not a lid off guy but the fact that this thing still exists after what we’ve all been through, I kinda like. It’s like a captured soldier being beaten and battered but continually getting to his feet standing tall and proud.
I just looked at the draw and can’t see where we might lose a game this year,this is unfortunate because I reckon you need a loss somewhere leading into the finals.
The lid may have rattled a little bit, but even better is that we have nailed shut the lid of FarkCarlton.
YOu would think so, but luckily they have deluded supporters that believe that the inclusion of squibs like Murphy and Gibbs will be enough… that way we get to watch their little hearts break after every soul destroying loss until round 9, when they crack the sads and demand another coaching change.
