Some of our gradings seem very generous lol. Goldstein, Perkins and Draper as B graders, alongside Zac Bailey and Coleman

I’m definitely still high on cox. He had a great first year then had all the wind taken out of sail with the injuries.

I honestly believe giving him a proper role in the forward line will unlock his best. He’s mobile, can rise for marks, has good kicking skills and has shown he can run out games on a wing if he can get a good preseason. Not to say I want him on the wing but it takes a good athlete to play there and he’s shown how fit he was right out of a Covid year.

Jones is still a tease. He can look great and then goes missing or just can’t clank those marks we a desperate for him to grab regularly.

I’m still suspending judgement on the Daveys, but junior is a bit worrying.

Cox needs to be developed as a forward and that’s it in my opinion

Do not rate cox at all but yep its forward/ruck or nothing

Useless on the wing. Useless down back. Kicked 3x goals TWICE last year, the only time he looked competent

Round 1, will line up on the wing for sure

All the more reason why we should be moving 2mp on.

Yep. CHF Nick Reiwoldt but can kick.
Can run defender ragged!

He’s not useless on the wing but definitely useless down back. Back should be emergency only with in game injuries.

Wingers have to be able to defend, hes unable to

Hes a complete liability on the wing. Doesnt use his height to take big pressure marks, and isnt agile enough, and doesnt win enough ball.

I like that we are at least attempting to fill our entire list this year by the sounds of being interested in the two irish guys with one from the GAA and the other from Irish Rugby Union combine them with the strong possibility of also adding Nguyen in some way as well.

Haven’t heard about Irish guys. What’s their deal?

No more irish guys they either get home sick or end up being delisted we havent had much luck with them.

They are essentially free hits, unless we have other cat B options who are more likely. I would never be counting on them when projecting a list build though.

Agree.

Forward/Ruck and play one ruckman. Even allows us to go a single KPP, 2 mediums and 3 small forwards.

Xavier Duursma is better than a C+ footballer imo.
Issue is keeping him healthy.

Another flag side with an average ruckman. They just need to be able to break even and consistently compete.

Pfft, joke is on them. We have five.

And just one. We don’t need Draper and Bryan……let alone Goldstein. Wright’s better than Joe as a ruckman

Agree. Big player for us
