London Bridge Attack

Ultimately, Only broader Islam can fix this.

I’m sure they’ll get right on that.

I could make an argument along the lines that the reason this stuff has spiked recently, is as a reaction to precisely that - ‘broader islam’ wanting to evolve, and this is the resistance.

This (and Manchester) are designed to influence the outcome of the election.

Anyone who still changed their profile pic for Manchester is in luck.

No doubt. Just like the pre-election attacks in France designed to swing support to Le Pen.

Time for vigilante action. It’s only a matter of time until citizens take their own action

True. But I think the west has a part to play in terms of policy in the middle east.

And noting Islam is 700 years younger than Christianity it may be the reformation type period.

We could invade Iraq again?

I would contend ISIS never would have gained a foothold had it not been for the 2003 invasion. Spent 3 years studying the devastating consequences as part of my masters.

It’s hard to argue against it, really.

But that invasion happened after the 9/11 attacks that got this whole party started, so I don’t think it can be solely blamed for the world’s issues with Islamic terror.

You most certainly could blame it for ISIS, specifically.

People honestly think better barriers along the side of every road is the solution to this problem? Farkin seriously?

The?
No.

Agreed. ISIS as an entity certainly. [quote=“Paul_Peos, post:32, topic:10672, full:true”]

Agreed. The complete and utter catastrophe of that invasion, the lack of post war planning, the coalition provincial authority and Al-Maliki sectarian government were devastating.

But there obviously was a disconnect between Islamists jihadism and the West or secular liberal democracy before that.

The man that created ISIS was locked up in GB after the invasion, Obama released him as part of that whole GB issue and closing it down. Successive US Gov created ISIS.

As for Islamic Terrorism, it has been going on for decades, the 70’s and 80’s were a wonderful time to catch a flight and play russian roulette with your life.

Vauxhall was a stabbing but unrelated to the other two

Ban the religion.
No surprise that Japan hasn’t had a single Islamic terror attack, they have barely any Muslims.

I’m not religious at all so I’d happily get rid of all religions, they contribute nothing to my life. This one however seems to specialise in violent lashings out towards those who don’t subscribe to it. Anything that promotes a mindset like that shouldn’t exist in the modern world.
