I think Bannon and Trump are playing a different game. They are actively promoting extreme right candidates. Yes, Trump ‘endorsed’ Strange in Alabama but Bannon riled up the base for Moore. I wonder if they feel they can flip enough Republican seats next year? Its all insane.
No one in California is waiting for him to open his mouth or his fat twitter fingers about the 40 dead here right up the road from me from the worst wildfires in our state’s history. It has been a week of carnage and not a peep.

And just to be sure it wasnt the media using bias, there was a direct quote from the widow included in the article if you read it.

The context is that whilst soldiers know the risks of the job before they start, it’s always a shock and sad if the worst does happen.
Any rational person would understand that.
I actually don’t think he meant it the way some have interpreted.
