And yes I understand the point that the investigations are related and that getting Trump is the main game. But the charges are still serious nonetheless

Well that may or may not be right. Both parties have agreed to delay Flynns sentencing due to ‘the current status of the investigation’. Prosecutors very rarely agree to delay sentencing, unless they think that what they would have to put to the court in sentencing would jeopardise an investigation/prosecution of an even bigger fish.
A Russian asset heavily in debt to the Russians approaches Trump and offers to run his campaign for free. During this time multiple approaches are made between the Russians and Trumps campaign team.

What evidence and charges are people expecting. That one day they will find a contract between trump and Putin. I doubt there’s ever going to be that kind of smoking gun.
But if your heavily in debt and you then work for free, what do you think is really happening here.

Nobody in politics wants Trump impeached. It would be a disaster. It is only the fantasy of left wingers outside of politics. The idea it’s the end game is silly.
Yes they do, the Dems have been publicly calling for it since he got in. Whether they would seriously do it is another issue altogether.
Taking the house and senate during the midterms is the best strategic move for the Dems. Discredit Trump and take that momentum into 2020 presidential campaign. Potentially win a heap of state races and undo the gerimandering advantage of the Republicans.
Impeaching Trump just puts a competent nut job in power instead of an incompetent nut job.

Hes pretty ineffective anyway. Only really passed a tax cut. All the rest is just executive order and agency direction stuff that can get reversed.
Use the anger as leverage to get people elected. Not just federal but at state level too.
It’ll be financial crimes and corruption that sinks him, specifically corruption with a bunch of foreign countries and or corporations with close ties to governments.
Corruption doesn’t poll well.

Agreed. I think he’s a loud, egotistical, corrupt businessman. He’s a history of screwing over people and breaking contracts. There’s a stench about his business dealings, how he sources his capital, the ethics of the businesses he puts his name to. This is why I believe he didn’t release his tax returns. Too much to keep hidden.
I don’t think he’ll get done for Russian Collusion. I think it’s a decent chance he did it as it’s consistent with his previous behaviour, but I doubt he’ll get done for it. But his past business practices will hopefully come out and take him down.

Microsoft Corp says hackers linked to Russia’s Government have sought to launch cyber attacks on US political groups, while Facebook and Twitter suspend hundreds of Iran and Russia-linked accounts in a sting on “coordinated inauthentic behaviour”.
Microsoft said that last week it took control of six web domains that hackers had created to mimic websites belonging to the US Senate, two conservative think tanks and Microsoft’s OneDrive cloud storage service.
The Supreme Court and lower court seats he’s filled are a pretty huge and long term effect.
