He did use facts. He responded with the most relevant facts in order to juxtapose the Trump manias we’ve come to know so well. Trump was claiming the world (which is amusing in itself given the nature of America First/MAGA is to retreat from responsibility for the world), DM responds with “hold your horses this is what has happened in your corner of the world”. If Trump hadn’t felt the need to take that extra step his ego demands and just said congratulations everybody then you might have more of a point.

No it was a chance to play with what Trump said in order to paint a picture which wasn’t exactly what Trump was claiming. It was propaganda manipulation 101.

I think there is essentially no disagreement here. All three of us seem to have said the same thing - here is a politician that is taking credit for something they likely had no impact on.

Nobody cares except these obsessive types who seemingly have nothing better to do than micro analyse every one of his tweets and/or words.
I note with interest that nobody on here has dare mentioned his support for the current rebellion in Iran. This is an actual life and death issue for many people yet most of the Lefty kids on here seemingly could not care less.

Without targeting the cause, the symptoms will remain.
Obama’s method was to appease the fundamentalists, meaning more displaced peoples and more need for refugee resettlement.
Trumps method is to fight fundamentalism at the source and with a view to providing ownership of countries such as Iran and NK back to the people.
The latter approach is win/win for everyone yet required courage.
The former approach is lose/lose for everyone Bar the fundamentalists and requires the spine of a jellyfish.
How anyone can equate marriage equality with actua life and death matters in Iran is inconceivable.
