Match review. Beating Collingwood always great

All i want is us to bury these fkg carnts on anzac day

SO

BAD

My Father's Day cards from the kids.

Very prophetic

I’m impressed.

Like a baby’s arm holding an apple.

I just want to believe that this win goes some way to keeping this list together.

Great day for EFC.

Big love in here to end the senior season

Made sure to get down behind the goals for the team after the game and back up to Grog Squad for some renditions of “WE LOVE YOU FLETCHER”.

Time to rewatch the games again!

The club needed today I think.

Laverde was awesome today. Didn’t go hard enough at times due to being indecisive but he will improve this as he matures. Was awesome when he went for the ball, always wins it. Heppell, Zerrett and Lav for the next decade is going to be one hell of a ride.

Hocking was immense today and showed just how important he is and how much we missed him.

Heppell was class as always.

Hooker was solid again.

Great finish to a terrible season, go crazy this weekend boys! You deserve it!

Wow that was really significent win to the mindset of the players going into a break. Proud of them after a horrific year. Think we all needed that

Oh and Stanton, how ■■■■ was he? Must have run 25 ■■■■ kilometers to go with his 3 ■■■■ goals and 30 ■■■■ disposals and 8 ■■■■ marks.

Delist.

Stanton, ya goose, can’t you do anything right? This season you have probably cost the club an extra $40k on your next contract, AND another $30k bonus for winning the Crichton. Stupid Stanton, don’t you realise the club’s in debt?

Thought he was gone last year (before I knew about the injury he carried), so glad to see him bounce back with probably his best season yet.

Well I;m glad that season is over. Now we ca get into what the AFL is all about...trade rumours

PRE SEASON IS OVER NOW THE REAL STUFF BEGINS

No matter how hard the umps tried, they couldnt get collingwood over the line.

Laverde is a strange one, some contests he was horrendous and just let his man mark the ball or win the contest easily, others he looks to own it, needs to maintain intensity, particularly as his low intensity is very evident at times.
M888888 its his what 8th or 9th game, learning is a beautiful thing im glad hes shown glimpses this season thats a positive rather then being very very raw.
How good could Laverde be? It's not like he dominated, but he looks absolutely the business. Try to keep that lid on!

Its such a simple thing but when he has it and hes being closed in on, the handball gets to his target. No droopy ■■■■. No waiting too long and getting wrapped up.

think it was a crack at the Stanton bashers…

At the game I cried.

■■■■■■■ brutal year.

I did too but that was due to a Collingwood ■■■■■ telling me I was a bad mother because my child was crying and I was bugman5 attend to her.

F*ck that. Easy to talk when DOCS are babysitting for you. Hate that feral scum. Only thing worse than a judgmental parent is a Collingwood supporter. Clearly a candidate for retrospective abortion.

Off to collect, hit Dan Murphys for a bottle of Glen Morangie, fire up the spa, & toast the end of this season from hell several many's of times. C'mon Summer, & yes, bring on 2016.

Nice choice BD, tucking into a glass now to celebrate. Suck ■■■■ Pies. Happy Fathers Day to all!

Positives from the second half of the year:

  • Holy ■■■■ we have two genuine key forwards AND get to play Hurley and Carlisle back (pls stay)
  • Fantasia is now a best 22 midfielder
  • Laverde will be a star
  • Smack is a best 22 3rd tall/2nd ruck (and I suspect will play that 40% ruck 60% forward role next year along with TBC)
  • O’Brien is a depth player who you can actually rely on to do a job when picked
  • There’s a light at the end of the tunnel with Shred. They’re working him ■■■■■■ hard, but I think it’ll pay off

You can do something with a squad built around this:

Baguley - Hurley - Gwilt
Hibberd - Carlisle - Goddard
Fantasia - Watson - Stanton
Edwards - Daniher - Colyer
Laverde - Hooker - McKernan
Bellchambers - Heppell - Hocking
Myers - Zaharakis - Merrett - Cooney

I watched that at my dad's place with 5 Collingwood supporters.

Nice…

Great win for the boys, they needed it, and they deserved it.

Smack could still be anything, he’s progression has pretty much the highlight of the year.

Bah… I hate the off season so much :frowning:

Is your dad a parole officer?

That is truly your post of the year. Touche’

I reckon that bloke bloke ‘clear air’ is going to be a great addition to this team next year.

How good was it when Pendlebury tried to rough up Jackson Merrett at the bottom of a pack and Jerret got up swinging and put him on his ■■■■?!

Great effort, nice to get the win.

A hard player like Hocking makes an enormous difference. He kicked goals when it counted. Add Myers, and we look much more competitive.
Fanta looks good in the centre, and dangerous around goal. Smack is the second ruck, no doubt.

Conversely, I’m am not sure where Kav (and possibly Pears) are at. They have been given a good run, but just don’t look like regulars.
