Match Review vs Hawks Round 1

Was checking stats as out all day. Just me or did Merrett have a ridiculous last qtr?

When is the last time we were really accurate and the opposition kept missing pretty easy shots?

Suck my scrotel zone Mitchell

Yeah an arm wrestle would have been more beneficial for team building. We belted the hawks by 10 goals would have got ahead of our selves good test today imo

Agree about the transition defending have to fix that up do that and we will be in more games for longer and a chance at winning

Watch some of our games while upside down or in a mirror.

I’m very happy we won, but…….we are going to learn a lot more about our team next week than we did this week.

Fark Hawthorn, every which way you can think of.

Every win over that mob is glorious.

Clips of Hawks players running the ball with ease on transition

That’s the first thing that should be pointed in the post game meeting by Brad.

… was about to say the same. Guelfi brings good defensive pressure. He struggled last year to match his previous best, but injury and all that didn’t help him.

Today, Guelfi did very well, and yet was still off from his typical attack best, so there’s scope to be even more impactful.

Key for him to be a lock in best 22, is to kick straight and nail his opportunities on the scoreboard. Notching up the goal assists certainly helps his value for the side.

One week at a time for me

Insta-like for the use of the term ‘scrotel’.

I had to look up scrotel - not sure if that’s a good or a bad thing

all well and good, but we play
swans
saints
power
bulldogs
crows over there
magpies.

you’d wanna be as upbeat and positive as you have been if we continue previous season form against those sides in the coming weeks, otherwise you’ll be target number 1 on here when you go psycho

You think I don’t know that is a tough run and could potentially loose all those game.

Let me enjoy the win ffs

For anyone at the ground, who was on Ginnivan in the first half and the second?
At no stage did the Fox “expert” commentators feel it was necessary to mention that and he was so loose it was hard to pick up on the tv.

Hepp first. He was unsighted in the second.

thats 100% just enjoy it. just imagine the feeling if we lost that. winning when playing poorly you just bank it and move on.

the fake Brownlow medalist, Sam Mitchell

Suck it.

Nahh. Redman and Martin also had stints on him in the first half.
Or at least were the ones standing next to him at centre bounces.

Heppell started on Bruest.
