-Not getting blown away in the last after they kicked two quickly.

Very encouraging. Some below-par performances, but overall, a general lift in the whole team. Ball movement was miles better. Bodes well for the games coming up.

Postive signs in first half, all fell away in the 2nd

Ultimately you just knew the class and experience of the Hawks would win out.

Too many mistakes by us, skills and decision making has cost us all year.

We were carrying largely 5 ineffective players in:

  • NOB
  • Edwards
  • Kav
  • Winders (underdone)
  • Joe (liability in front of goal)

And Watsons output significantly down albeit with large periods of the game fwd.

Postives.

Carlisle looked a lot better and plenty of it
Smack did really well

We badly need Hocking, Myers and Zaka back.

All our left footers are so predictable and always turn back to get onto their left side thus wasting precious seconds allowing the fowards to lose any advantage they had over their opponent. Our right footers aren’t that flash either!

Yep, give it a couple of weeks and a few returning players and I'd strongly suggest we can return to the mediocrity of the last few years and put this poor patch behind us.

If today was our line in the sand game, we've stepped over it and headed toward bottom four. And perhaps we need to get some good draft picks. And we don't have to tank but just maybe the f'ing AFL will fine us for that as well.

the club may be down, but babying them and giving them participation rewards for turning up, does nothing but condition them that that kind of performance is ok, when it’s ultimately not.

you and others want to be delusional that’s fine, but you’re ultimately apart of the problem, not the solution, just remember that.

Commentators were loving it. Dwayne russels the biggest flog. "Bending it back, snap around the body" is pretty much all he says for the 2 hours
