Might be time that I hit pause on the membership for a while. This year was painful enough, just got no enjoyment out of it.

I made the belated call a few weeks ago to shed myself of the burden and feel better for it. They need to get their house in order before they see another penny from me

This is probably why they said they were going for finals this year. They budgeted at least one decent year of income before fans and sposors kicked us in the balls

I emailed through cancellation of my membership a couple of hours ago.
EDIT: I also haven’t been encouraging my kids into barracking for this team either. There’s no reason to put them through this horror show.

It’s just different. I know we have to embrace the rebuild we need to have, but we’ve never been prepared to do it and it should have happened after the saga. Now it feels too late.
We’ve chased Gresham and McKay and are now probably regretting it. Things change but would be nice to have the club explain their process to their members so we can get around it.

Fan favourites leaving the last couple of years will also hurt.
My daughter who still attends every game had Stringer as her fav. She was shattered when he left. This year her fav was Draper…. 
Letting String go was the right decision for the club. Honestly, if we get band 1 for Draper not offering him a 6th year or higher $$ is the right decision as well. It’s just a shame that the players who are crowd favourites are leaving & we just have vanilla players.
We’ll sign up again for 2026. We always do but i can see that she doesn’t enjoy going as much as she used to. 2025 was a hard year.

I answered every question honestly so they can get a genuine read.
I’m a HM member, seats on the wing level 2. So for questions about quality of the membership seats I answered with high ratings reflecting the fact the seats and aspects of the membership product and services are actually great.
On the questions about the team, Marvel Stadium as a home venue and other broader club performance I obviously provided very low ratings and honest commentary.
