Ah… the survey. It’s the only thing I miss about being a member.
That one chance to drop a bucket on the club and point out their myriad sins, and feel a (misguided) sense that maybe you’re making an iota of difference somehow. Before the gloomy realisation that it will reach some lackey’s inbox and either a) progress no further than that, or b) get collated, sent on to someone vaguely powerful at the club and then be summarily ignored because we are Essendon…

Our family will renew our memberships, as a way of supporting the club, but I didn’t attend any games last season and probably won’t next season.

They will duck and run after they read my survey responses. No chance they ever get a cent from me until they fix this dysfunctional mess of a ‘football club’.
Will happily pay my memberships and attend next year if we move Zac on and take our picks to the draft.
If we keep Zac that would probably do me for a couple of years and I won’t keep my memberships
Doing some tidying and found these things…
From 2000 through to 2018. With a 5 and 10 year membership pin, and one to “celebrate” the first game at Colonial Stadium. No idea where the 1993 to 1999 and post-2018 ones went/are.
Tempted to keep the 2000 pin and turf the others… a reminder of sustained uselessness.
Do they still do these or are they another membership thing that disappeared?..

I’ve only got a 4 game membership and I don’t attend games. Their non game day member is $70 to get 10% off the bombershop as far as I can tell.
I just finished my membership survey. They really need a “Vent Here” section.
Got my advantage membership today (I’m not an advantage member, never have been).
For the same membership I had in 2025 it has gone up $600.

I’ve had to downgrade my membership mostly as almost all the games are Thursday Friday and Saturday nights and it just won’t work for families. The 2026 schedule should come out before they ask for renewals
