My muslim work mate just sent me a photo of him dressed as Santa for his local CFA wishing me merry Xmas.
He’s definitely not offended by it.

How does this club always find a way to f… things up. Just say Merry Christmas. Not that hard and everyone moves on. I’m Catholic and got wished Merry Christmas by a Shia Muslim at my local chicken shop.

My muslim work mate came in on the last day with chocolates for all the office staff. Does it every year. She doesn’t celebrate it, obviously. She’s just a generous soul.

Read the room mate. Have a look at comments on Insta and Facebook. Obviously a lot of people care. If it’s not a big deal, my question is why can’t they say Merry Christmas? Who exactly is it offending?
And you say the club has a lot of issues to worry about… I’d say 1 of them is being on the same page as supporters, which this club has been breathtakingly shocking at for the best part of 20 years.

Yeah well it obviously does mean something for a lot of people as per the comments. And going out of your way to not say it because it might offend I don’t know who is just woke corporate nonsense.
Also if you’re not gonna say Merry Christmas, don’t mention Diwali or Ramadan.
