Mid Season Draft 2025

Massimo Raso doing well in the VFL game on atm. 3 goals before halftime. Great wrok rate and takes his chances.

Yes he’s going to be a decent prospect you’d think. Certainly one to keep tracking.

I’d be investing in Richmonds VFL scouts

All good as long as he’s not a Drumpf.

We shouldn’t draft guys purely because they have cool names.

But we should draft his guy purely because of his cool name.

Be nice if you could roll the dice on your NGA players and take them mid season. A free hit, if you think they’re any good, take your chance and select them and use your mid season pick.

That would mean a club like the Dogs could have picked JUH without having to pay up any draft capital. It’s a good system that players need to pass through a National Draft first before clubs can have access to them.

What they should make is NGA players still available up to 2 years post draft.
so say Foley isn’t ready at 18, we can list him as a Cat B at 19 or 20 while he develops in the VFL side.

Priority - a solid body, speed and good kick.

Riley Bice has been a good pickup for swans, someone like that would have been better than prior.

need to find another with those strengths.

Please draft a player that means I never have to see Dylan Shiel anywhere near our half back line again.

Brad said Bice was on their list but the swans got in first.

That’s good to hear.
We should be ahead of the swans in the MSD.

Remember they were all over Durham as well.

Pick 37 - Gerreyn
Pick 39 - Clarke
Pick 41 - Bice

I would definitely be looking for good back pockets from state leagues. Players who can lock down an opposition forward and aren’t terrible at interception or disposal. Bags, Hibberd, Puopolo, Saad all came from state leagues, so they’re out there.
