Update: not dead.
Great news, bet he has a battle ahead
I went to an airshow in Lilydale about 40 years ago, a small plane came in and landed but veered off the grass runway and ended up in the trees in a ball of fire. Was horrific, pilot didnât survive.
For some reason air shows make me very nervous and Iâve never been to one.
I had a free ticket for the airshow that day, but couldnât attend. Soooooo glad in hindsight that I missed that opportunity.
Story behind the F-35 that flew off after its pilot ejected and how his career was killed unfairly due to optics.
Another nutter, probably drunk, trying to open the door on a Bali Oz flight. One day one of them will be successful and murder hundreds of people.
Letâs hope the airline leaves him in Bali and he has to row himself home. Ban them from flying for life.
You canât simply open a door in flight.
Especially when the aircraft is pressurized.
Yeah, would probably snap the handle off before the door even slightly budges at cruising altitude.
It could be opened on descent, but everyone is buckled in and ready for landing at that point, so the only person at risk is a fkwit who opens the door.
Itâd be fkn loud and annoying for everyone else but not dangerous.
A woman apparently. Upset with her seat. Film and photos show some sort of condensation appearing but like @barry_day points out experts saying near impossible to open a door at that altitude.
Youâd have to be pretty low, and youâd also still be fighting the airstream to do it.
Confirmed as 2 Siemens execs plus their kids
Sounds like the blades came off. How is that even possible?
