What was that movie where a crim has a picket fence while Amrican family hostage in a place set for a nuclear test somewhere in the desert, height of the cold war thing?
The Hills Have Eyes?
No, but the plot lines in that one are amazing
I think I remember it?
The People Under The Stairs or something?
I think they called themselves mother and father…
Or it might be a completely different film.
She takes her apron off to pick him up, suspects he is having an affair, something about laser lights disorientating them
They have twin beds ( Hayes Code ] until they get thrown together in squalid conditions with guns at their heads and nuclear countdown clocks . Maybe I am rolling several pics into one, but it was pretty stark in a desert black and white - not even a cactus . And there was something about the one with power holding tne gun who was terminally ill with nuclear exposure (not that the hostages knew it)
Anyway, the mum and dad and the kids survive all this and,eve if they don’tlive In a log house, have as good chance as anyone of being tne President,
I sure don’t know that one!
I know the one that you’re talking about. Or at least I think I do. If I remember it, I’ll let you know. It’ll bug me the whole day now no doubt. I have to admit I was thinking Hills Have Eyes or maybe Wrong Turn too.
The Exorcist
The conjuring
The shining
Silence of the Lambs
Psycho
The birds
One was Split Second, but I mixed up the story lines of a few disaster films
Those Aussie directors whanell and James something or other are all kinds of fkd up in the head
I don’t think I seen the french film Haute Tension (High Tension) mentioned but it was an excellent film until almost ruined by a totally unnecessarily ridiculous ending.
The Australian documentary style film Lake Mungo is also excellent and I don’t think I have seen that mentioned. Should almost be in my top ten.
Slow burn style but unique.
Train to Busan is one of the zombie films of all time so it will be a hard act to follow.
This looks very promising though.
Any love for Something Wicked This Way Comes?
Sounds good. Send her over!
Yes it was, forgot about Shocking Asia
Leigh Whanell, James Wan after Saw worth a ■■■■ load of money.
Whannell was a film buff and appeared on a show called recovery.
I’m pretty sure there’s other people in the business that are more ■■■■■■ than these guys, just read up on the Wackowski ahm sisters.
Followed by Herzog’s Even Dwarfs Started Small and then Nosferatu
Wachowski sisters? Typo?
I think you need to sit down before reading their biography
