You’re allowed to do much worse than that hit when going for a mark, so what’s the fuss??

This one might be better, they didn’t show it from many angles.

They’d argue a mark is a realistic attempt to contest the ball, whereas a “bump” isn’t
As a player, you can definitely get away with causing more collateral damage in the air than on the ground

Fixed.

Yep. Exactly. Another inconsistency in the rules. Ask Jarrad Waite what he thinks! (…and Hurley after that rake of Waite’s boots on his back…)

Everyone just stops dead in their tracks after Coniglio goes down and Cooney picks up the ball. I think they were all equally surprised he laid a bump!

If that’s worth one then i’d like to see our boys do that much more often. Maybe then the opposition will think twice about pushing us off the ball or doing annoying things behind play.

Those retiring should be offered huge cash bonuses in their last game.

Magnificent hit. More of that please Bombres.

Haha. Was trying to hint at that in my post (perhaps too subtle)
Can remember back from my own playing days how easy it was to throw a knee into the quad/hip/rips of someone in a marking contest.
Or at least punching them in the bicep/forearm to give them a corkie

Magnificent hit. More of that please Bombres.
If it was Hawthorn, it'll be just called unsociable football, and nothing more thought about it.

As it’s us, it’s because we are a pack of %@$#%, who are $%$!#% %^@ %$^%^ and #$#$#%^ lower than low %&%*#^^&@$%.

I’m ok with that.

Nice to see something go our way too.

If we can’t beat them, we beat them.

If we can't beat them, we beat them.

Treat them like the dicks they are?

Silvagni and Masten should have both got 6.

Biting? Nice.

Biting? Nice.

Strange one, wonder why he decided to bite?

Could be biting of the testes, or reacting to a fish-hooking. Or somewhere in between.

As long as he didn’t do what that dog did to that poor bastid on Bondi Rescue last night.
