Swoods, did you watch Bad Bunny at half time in the Super Bowl? I reckon you’d be into that.
I first heard her on Australia Day weekend… didn’t realise she was Australian though
We’ve all learned something today. ![]()
Wait is she Australian I just googled and it says British. Look what you have done.
No…I have no interest in American “Football”
He did say “apparently”.
Yeah, I don’t care for the sport in the slightest, just the performances were cool.
Edit: can’t share them, NFL blocked.
Completely inoffensive pop all over commercial radio right now.
She’s got a pleasant voice, her songs are pleasant (in a vanilla Norah Jones kind of way), she doesn’t come across as a diva, she doesn’t trill and over-sing, and she doesn’t parade around with her ■■■■ and arse out.
If I had to choose between Olivia Dean and 99.9% of the ■■■■ I hear Little Miss B listening to these days (and likely whatever was in the Dribble J Top 100 if I had any idea what most of it is), I’d choose Olivia Dean. I’m not rushing out to buy it, but equally I don’t yank for the off button when I hear her stuff.
A more pertinent question today of all days is… who da fark is Bad Bunny?
Cheers mate ![]()
Happy Gilmore’s caddy
The guy in Donnie Darko
Fatal Attraction?
I don’t know which one of you magnificent BDJ bastards gave me this song, but I apologise for not giving you five votes.
Has gone into solid, heavy rotation.
Currently listening to Peter Gabriel’s “So”
Just great song after great song.
Just went through a PG marathon last week.
His run of albums from PG3, onto PG4, and finishing with So is extraordinary.
This might be a questions that has a never ending answer. I’m sure opinions will differ.
What a good starting point for Nick Cave?
I know some of his stuff, singles, the songs everyone knows I.e Red Right Hand, Ship Song….
But I’ve never actually listened to an album!
Should have won the Grammy for album of the year, another example of the yanks overrating one of their own. Ironically Paul Simon won with his album that was considered groundbreaking due to using South African muso’s, something that PG had already been doing for years.
It’s certainly a personal thing, but I’d recommend that you have a listen to ‘The Boatman’s Call’ and ‘Henry’s Dream’ to get you started.
