Well, yes. But I think youâre deflecting. The Stones Taylor era is my favourite Stones era. Unquestionably. But all he did was add flavour.
What great solo albums did he write after leaving or prior joining the Stones? I donât know any off the top of my head. Mick and Keith wrote those albums. Taylor helped make them great.
To say Taylor is better than Keith is like saying the pickles are better than the rest of the burger.

One of the main reasons why Taylor left is that he was disgruntled with Mick and Keith refusing to give him the songwriting co-credits he deserved.
I actually saw Mick Taylor live one night in the early 80s with John Mayallâs band at a venue on the Upper Esplanade in St Kilda. The man could play!

This is trueâŚbut whereas I always remove pickles if it somehow gets on any of my food, I have actually partaken of McDonalds three times in my life.
That is not to give them any respectability, but to place them above pickles.
