Also interesting that former Quo members played in bands later with former Angels members, so presumably no great bad blood.
Often with these plagiarism cases, the resemblance is marginal. This one is pretty blatant. Thankfully it was settled privately because, had it gone to court, I suspect Doc & The Brewsters would have had their arses handed to them…

New song from Robert Plant.
I’ve loved this guy since the early Led Zeppelin days and have followed him continuously since then.
Unlike so many other major stars, he’s never been bothered with his fame/legacy when it comes to releasing music.
This is just another example (and a great song).
This is very true, much to the frustration of Zeppelin fans. Its usually always Plant vetoing the releases of a lot of great live stuff that’s in the vaults.

Mallard was a 70s US band formed by ex-members of Captain Beefheart’s Magic Band, but that would be a VERY obscure reference.
They only lasted a couple of years and recorded two albums.
