Not sure it's the way it should be voted on, but if I could pluck one of those players, it'd be Bontempelli. But they were pretty patient and if i recall right he didn't play at all early on.
With Zac M, he also didn;t play much earlier on, but it doesn't really matter whether the vote-casters think he did enough to win an award - you can see the quality.
Zerrett may not get the votes in the rising star, But then again Buddy Franklin didn't get many in his first year 1 I think he got in total. So in the long run I think Zerrett may deliver more consistent and better footy than some of these blokes.
