There is weight restrictions on what they are allowed to have on the grass. Every event there uses plastic chairs.
To use anything else they would have to build a fake floor that doesn’t touch the grass.
If you thought $1500 was expensive it doubles for a fake floor.
Simple fact is it was an exhibition game in the middle of a football field in the middle of winter. If you weren’t smart enough to realise it would be ■■■■ then it is your fault.
Me personally I loved it. $150 bucks, plenty of beers and saw some all star players without having to jump on a flight. Happy ■■■■■■■ days.
I don’t really know NBA too much, but the whole “haha you should have known it was gonna be ■■■■ you idiots” thinking going on when people that are probably worse off and never have the opportunity to see these stars, forking out good cash for a rare opportunity and then gets screwed is a strange thing to defend, and makes you come across as a huge d*ck.
Personally I don’t care what event in any sport you go to, the onus is on them to provide good viewing vantage points unless clearly marked as restricted viewing.
