I don’t think it will happen but some of the concept plans appeared to encroach on part of our current area. There will be dozens of proposals put forward in the coming years and I guess it’s up to APAC to weigh it up. The airport does need a massive overhaul but I think Nancy Bird has spooked them a bit

We train in the windiest training grounds yet can’t play outside.
We play at our home ground under a dome yet don’t train for those conditions.

Hong Kong has two runways and Melbourne needs three?
Yes i know HKIA is expanding.
HKG has 3 runways.
The new one opened last year but they have closed one of the original ones for more expansion work
