We don’t seem to publicise much about our Tiwi and Arnham academies. We only have our Calder kids named and listed and even then, it isn’t an extensive list of all the kids we have access to, just the ‘better’ ones.
If he was in state squads for BBall, they may have actually asked him to stop playing footy, or at least stop taking it seriously.
Junior sports get surprisingly serious, surprisingly young.

Good news if true, do you know if any other of our Tiwi kids are boarding down south?
I think it was mentioned in the recent video that there are 5 or so in the under 16s who are in the accelerated program having represented NT at the u16s champs. I’d assume Brayden is among that 5 - as is a Long and a Tipiloura. Maurice Jnr is too but he’ll likely choose either Richmond or Freo, likely Richmond with Dan there.

It’s not just about getting players but a big part seems to be helping and inspiring the community.
