We have Vegas’ first rounder, so I’ve been cheering for them to fall out of the playoffs for the last month or so.
Unfortunatly, LA are too sh*t to catch them.
Flames on the other hand… we were sitting second last, then traded out Kadri and Weeger, which should have cemeted our spot.
So what do we do? Go on a 5-0-1 run, and the throw-in roster players we got as part of the trades, are seriously outperforming the “star” guys we traded out. Olli Maatta has 10 points in 12 games as a 2nd-3rd pair defender!
Who needs a top 3 pick anyway…

Looked dead and buried a few weeks back but got a bit of a second win and the teams above are falling over themselves. I’d think we still fall short but it’s great to see some different teams in the mix

They are so friggin good.
It’s a weird year. Everyone has roughly 8-ish games left, but there are only 2 teams officially locked into playoffs, and only two teams officially eliminated.
