Looks like a ■■■■ Tracy villan.
He looks like Bill Pullman with a really bad wig (perhaps for a role as a villain in Dick Tracy?)
apparently the 1 million fine is the max for NRL doping violations, so, yeah, not much they couldve done there
Sports people trust the most untrustworthy looking blokes. Curious.

Anthony LaPaglia in a blonde wig.
Jeff Daniels.
I assume that they just took the Essendon penalties as a starting point and then made strategic adjustments to make it look like their own original work.
Could do the draft penalty. Do they have an NRL draft?
Cannot restrict free agency to the team as they wouldn’t be able to field a team.
What other penalties can they get?
I hope they remembered the no pay clause that the AFL left out.
Does the NRL even have 1 million dollars?
Think their TV rights were nearly as much as the AFL's.Does the NRL even have 1 million dollars?

The NRL is better off financially than most would realise
Between all the supporters of NRL the total income almost equals $1million.... Well off indeed.
Does the NRL even have 1 million dollars?
Their poker machines would have.

Thought their TV rights were more than the AFL's? Makes sense considering no one actually goes to games.
NRLs TV rights deal was a shade over $1 billion for 5 years. AFLs was a bit over $1.2 billion for 5 years, but started a year earlier so is probably a little higher proportionally because of inflation.
Sheer $ value doesn't really tell the whole story. Depends how much of the respective deals are provided in actual carsh form and how much are provided as complimentary advertising. Also depends on how much the leagues had to give up, in terms of control over their fixture, ad breaks in play, etc etc.
I thought the NRL's TV rights were a lot less than the AFL's.
AFL gets more, but they are both 1billion+ deals over 5 years so neither is shy of a penny

Up until the most recent NRL deal, this was true.

Do they still have the double headers Satday nights as well as the arvo game (ie 3 games, on live TV, one after the other after the other) ?
TV rights might be close, but that'd be about the only thing.
