Numbers 2020

They normally announce these things at the AGM/members forum do they not? That event is on Thursday night (December 5th) IIRC.

I was hoping if both Fletchers made it they could go 21 and 31, but that’s not gonna happen now.

Phillips 34, Johnson 36

Sheesh SSP selection Townsend straight to the low numbers.

They must really think he going to impact in senior team a fair bit

Same number as Clarke who was SSP last year.

me like Harrison Jones 23.

It is 20 though. The black hole of EFC numbers.

Yeah, I’m OK with Cutler’s 12 but 20 seems very low for Townsend. I mean, who could ever follow in Jackson Merrett and Zac Clarke’s footsteps.

I would have had him straight in the Jamar 53.

Congratulations Harrison Jones - big shoes (guernsey) to fill. (Think Ken Fraser rather than more recent incumbents, who have been serviceable)

Obviously Jumpin John Williams is the player who springs to mind as the most memorable number 24, but technically Craig Bird, Alex Browne, Stanton and of course Misiti wore it as midfielders.
