first it’s only round 2. and then it’ll just be round 6, and then 13, then 17, then 19. then we’ll throw in some dodgy performances at home and guess what, we’re 7th again. same stuff every year, same excuses. freo are average.

Nah they are average Freo are tipped to finish bottom 4 by everyone and we made them look like a top 4 side not good enough for a team that wants to play finals and go deep into finals

they won 8 games in total last year and have lost 7 of their last 8.
they won 4 games in the entire 2016 season.

The thing that gets me is all the Instagram posts leading up to the game - sitting by the pool, hanging out at Crown, winery tours. Seems like they were in holiday mode.
So frustrating that mentally the players cannot get themselves set for these games.

Exactly. And while it’s only round 2, the club needs to start nailing that mentality on the head.
Freo were well prepared and driven to win this game. We didn’t seem too fussed either way.
