How are everyoneās favourite championship squads shaping up for August?
Wolves missed out on Chris wood but are hoping to sign Sammy ameobi from Newcastle on loan.
Other signings have been 3 youngsters, Conor coady - 22yo midfielder form huddersfield, Jed Wallace, 21 yo midfielder from Portsmouth who potted 17 goals last year and Sylvain Deslandes, an 18 yo defender from France has represented France at under age squads.
Sadly, no one to replace Sako who is yet to sign with a premier league club.
Kenny Jacket had a wafer thin squad last year and we need some real depth if we are going to progressā¦
Closest Leeds have had to stability in the last 10 years and itās wonderful. Expecting it all to blow up in our face before too long and take any chance of us getting up away with it, but decent squad I feel, especially if we add some wingers for the first time in 4 years. As usual though itāll all come down to off field with us.
Second year in a row Ipswich lose their first choice left back to a Premier League club (Cresswell to West Ham last year, Mings to Bournemouth this year).

Looking forward to the start of the season next weekend but not confident at the moment as Wolves are working with an extremely small squad after losing Sako and allowing a few others to go. In desperate need to re sign a couple of players and to bring in backup striker for Afobe and Dicko and Left winger to replace Sako at a minimum. A few injuries and our season is over.
Finally some news for us on the transfer front for us with Wolves picking up Adam Le Fondre from Cardiff on a season long loan with an option to buyā¦ brilliant!-and his support for Afobe and Dicko off the bench will be huge for us.
Just need that left winger to replace Sako quickly now and Iāll be pretty happy with whereā¦
Not sure if its normal but the contract states that Adam will need to sit out the two games we play Cardiff this year?! Does that always happen? We shouldāve negotiated that one with Paddy and we wouldāve beaten Port!

Pretty common practice from what Iāve seen
Always the way with loan deals. Reduces the risk of conflict of interest - say if you dropped your effort versus the parent club.
No sure this would be the problem in this case. Cardiff broke the news to Adam that he was not required and could go out on loan at the airport on the way to a game. He had to beg to be able to play a friendly for the club during the last month ā¦ no love lost here.
