2001 I liked. Last Year at Marienbad I agree was boring , a load of pretentious rubbish.
If you look for it, I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find that love actually is all around.

all animated movies are cgi, so i guess toy story etc are all crap.
CGI can greatly enhance a movie if done well. Some is so bad that it completely takes you out of the story cough The Hobbit cough
PI is just all round rubbish
Any Marvel superhero flick, fast and furious or transformers flick gets the gong from me.

Any Christmas themed Romance/Family/Drama/Comedy. Absolutely excruciating stuff. Although i’ll pay Home Alone, even though it’s about an abandoned child violently & mercilessly torturing hapless crooks.
Christmas vacation with Chevy chase is brilliant

Yeah, but not always, so he’s not really helpful at all.
He sounds like Mark Naglazas over here in The West Australian.
He likes to point out the plot holes in movies like American Pie…geebus Mark, it’s a cheap ars* teen movie.
He should be happy that there is anything resembling a plot…but no, he expects it to be high art.
