In a paradoxical turn of events, it turns out that crawling around in a longish grass paddock that you are worried hides a few dozen Eastern brown snakes , in order to photograph a bloody butterfly , is a stress reduction measure after an interminable working week. This is what I’ve become.

Both only a 10%-20% crop.
@saladin you know I only need to go outside to put the camera out and the align it with the south! I do all the controlling from my pc inside

What??? I stayed out there all night for no reason!?
Actually, it’s pretty funny, I only took 2 shots for the night - photography, not whisky, I had about 10 of them - and they also happened to be of the southern cross.
Handheld, single exposure, one second, quick jpeg edit.
Yours might be a wee bit better…
PS - keep up the great work, mate. I’m hoping it’s helping with everything else you have going on.

I am keen to meet in the city to grab a couple. Perhaps we can meet at a cafe either in town or east melb?
